Dr. Evan Berg is the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Director / Chief Medical Officer for instED. He is responsible for the oversight of instED’s medical service delivery and the instED Virtual Medical Control team.
Dr. Berg has a significant background in mobile integrated healthcare (MIH). Previously, he served as the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Medically Home, where he developed programs to deliver critical services to patients with complex health issues. Before that, he was the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine. There, he managed clinical operations in the adult emergency department and fast-track areas, collaborating with instED to reduce hospital admissions through in-home MIH services.
Dr. Berg loves taking care of patients, collaborating with colleagues, and thinking creatively about complex and challenging healthcare problems.
Mohsin Khan is the VP and Chief Product & Technology Officer and leads development of instED’s IT and Platform infrastructure. He is also the Vice President of Client Program Management at Commonwealth Care Alliance and is responsible for client integration of CCA’s care management model.
Mohsin has over 25 years of experience in Partnership Development and Software Product Lifecycle Management. Before CCA, Mohsin spent 12 years at athenahealth, where he built partnerships with the largest U.S. health systems and helped successfully deploy athena’s cloud platform. He also led efforts to build an information backbone to increase interoperability both within and between healthcare entities.
Mohsin holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MBA from Babson College.
Chris Malagrida is the Senior Director and Chief Operating Officer for instED. She drives the assessment, design, and end-to-end process improvement of the Care Delivery Network and Clinical Resource Center, and oversees daily operations. She has over 15 years of clinical and operational leadership experience steering complex process and quality improvement efforts that achieve strategic priorities to advance organizations.
Prior roles include the Executive Director of Performance Management in Ambulatory Services at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Chief Operating Officer at North Shore Community Health, a federally qualified health center. She is also a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and former primary care provider.
Chris holds a DNP and MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a BSN and MSN from Columbia University School of Nursing, and a BA in Psychology from Saint Michael’s College.
