Don Stiffler is the Chief Executive Officer of instED. He brings over 35 years of business, operations and executive leadership in both the provider and payor space to the instED leadership team.
Before joining instED, he served as Chief Growth and Revenue Officer at Commonwealth Care Alliance overseeing strategy, sales, product, network/provider relations, clinical innovations and market(s) growth and expansion. In this role, he also served as instED’s Board Chair.
His prior roles include Senior Vice President at UnitedHealth Group/Optum, where he led and managed the sales, clinical, business development, and network operations for 39 markets of their Complex Care division (ISNP, CSNP, DSNP, IESNP). Prior to that, he was the National Vice President, Procurement and Network for AmeriHealth Caritas. He began his healthcare career in the provider space, starting at entry level and progressing to executive leadership at a nonprofit provider organization serving over 5,000 patients daily.
