Dr. Evan Berg is the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for instED. He is responsible for the oversight of instED’s medical service delivery and the instED Virtual Medical Control team.
Dr. Berg has a significant background in mobile integrated healthcare (MIH). Previously, he served as the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Medically Home, where he developed programs to deliver critical services to patients with complex health issues. Before that, he was the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine. There, he managed clinical operations in the adult emergency department and fast-track areas, collaborating with instED to reduce hospital admissions through in-home MIH services.
Dr. Berg loves taking care of patients, collaborating with colleagues, and thinking creatively about complex and challenging healthcare problems.
